Tanya is a practising yogini since 2000, and received her Yoga TTC200 Certification with Distinction in Raja Yoga in 2008.
In 2014, Tanya received her Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT®) Certification. Click here to view her Yoga Alliance profile.
Tanya brings her experience as an athlete, as well as working with clients with various conditions and injuries, to cater for all body types. She has developed a Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Course as well as programmes for children. Tanya has practised a wide range of yoga styles including, Astanga, Baptiste, Bikram, Hatha, Iyengar, Forrest, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Power, Sivananda, Tibetan and Yin Yoga.
Daily meditation since 2006 has been key to Tanya’s life. She has attended numerous meditation retreats and has practised Zen meditation, Vipassana meditation, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi’s IAM® Technique, as well as other forms.
Tanya holds a BA (Hons) Psych. Degree, BWRT® Certification, Diplomas in Nutrition, and is a Reiki Master; bringing together these modalities for a holistic understanding of the body and mind.
